Selecting a Name for the Artist

When we were deciding a name for the artist we had a few problems, we hadn't decided if it was going to be known to be a singular female or a female with a male. However throughout the video we can only see a female so we opted to only choose a name for a singular female. Although we wanted to do something different we felt artists such as Charli XCX and Rebecca & Fiona had rather simplistic names for female artists within the indietronica genre. This lead to us both agreeing on the name 'Kay' it's also my real name however we took the 'E' that is seen at the end of my name away to make the artist name appear to be more simplistic. It's also memorable so people can and will always remember the name.
